Didn't answer but Patient Financial Services (PFS) from Intermountain Healthcare (IHC) left a message to call their toll free number at 1-866-415-6556. It's their verified number here: http://intermountainhealthcare.org/communitys ... nicbilling.aspx so I went ahead and checked with them to see if I owed anything, having not been to the hospital for many years and am not even the primary account holder. They said their system says they have no record for me or even an indication they called me. Strange, but IHC's a reputable company so maybe just a glitch in their phone system.
I just got a call from this number (didn't answer) and it left an automated voicemail that was cut off, so all I heard was a man's voice saying "...1007."
I tot a call and answered. The recorded message said it was a call from Intermountain Health Care and that apologized for the delay. After repeating that message several time I was put through to someone. I looked up the number on the Internet (that's how I found this web page) and found it is legit - it is the number for Patient Financial Services.
Appeared to be an auto-dialer. I answered, but no one there and no msg. Called back, it was IHC. Bill not due yet, and they are calling about payment arrangements because they have had the file for 20 days. My bill isn't even due yet. What a bunch of moron's ! My vote, don't answer.
