I have been receiving numerous calls for the past few weeks from this number. When I answer noone speaks and then they immediately hang up. This happens at least six times a day. I have attempted to call the number back and a recording states the number is no longer in service. This is the most annoying and invasive thing ! I would like very much for this to stop.
I finally spoke to the person calling me from 801-444-1111 (Utah) after about the 4th call. He had a heavy Indian accent and informed me that I had inquired about a grant. I asked him to repeat himself since I could not understand what he was saying and he stated that I had inquired about a grant but did not provide or ask any additional information. I then heard him say, "get lost" very clearly. I then called the number back and was informed the number was not in service or had been disconnected.
omg i had the same problem .!! it was like an indian accent & hes like "is it correct you are looking for grant money?" & i was like no. then hes sounded frustated & said have a nice day then ... b4 that i had like 4 missed calls from there.
They have called me 13 times today. Isn't this considered harassment? I feel this is an insane amount of attempts to reach someone in a single days time. I'm a full time student, their calls interrupt my classes and work. It's ridiculous; I want them to stop, I just don't know how to get them to.
Now that i have read this, i know exactly who this is. I received a text message saying i won a $1,000 best buy gift card and in order to redeem it i have to "support their advertisers" so i chose something that was free and it was the government grant one. So maybe you signed up for a free offer and gave your number out and that is the number that is calling.
