This number showed up as a Primary Number on my Pay Pal Account. When I called to find out what was up I got shuffled around, was told that they don't have a Security Department. I finally got someone in Resolutions who just deleted it from the account. No one could tell me when it was added or by whom or why. So much for Security at Pay-Pal! Why would GE Financial want to be on my Pay-Pal account? It all sounds fishy to me.
Called, got answering machine, listened to message, which states "If you are not going to leave a message do not call back. they left no message, and called back immediately, and once again did not leave a message, once again.
this number was on my paypal account, I did not enter it. when I called it it said it was for a company called corporate payment services and gave menu options. when I selected an option it said that number had been disconnnected.
While updating information on my Paypal account I discovered this number had been added as a secondary home home number. I immediately removed it and contacted Paypal. The lady was polite and found the number had been added in 2008 via online. She transferred me to security and the gentleman took the information and stated they would investigate immediately.
This number is listed, currently, as belonging to Ge Money, also listed as GE Capital Financial, in Salt Lake, Utah. It is not connected with General Electric.
