Received calls on 1/02/08 at 3:24 p.m., and on 1/04/08 at 12:15 p.m. Didn't answer. Unsolicited call. I am on Federal DNC register. Caller ID displays "Basic Research". Why would I want to participate in a survey for which I haven't provided a basis for? Can't the FCC do something about consumers getting unwanted calls (unsolicited). Even my privacy options with all companies I deal with have been "opted out" for the purposes of the companies sharing my personal information.
Just entered comments above. Decided to do reverse phone search. There are 4 listings available for this number. Basic Research, their President, Manager, and another person without a job title. All 4 listings are under the same address in Salt Lake City, UT. Bottom line, this call is still UNSOLICITED, and they should be stopped if they don't have a current business relationship with a person.
