I *67'ed the #. A recorded message by an Indian woman with a thick accent who's name I couldn't understand said it was the offices of Morgan Stanley. She continued to say not to leave an order on voicemail if calling back. Then she gave a general number for Morgan Stanley. I don't have an account with Morgan Stanley. I doubt they would be calling an area code 2000 miles away. They never left a message on my machine and Caller ID shows Bose, R. My guess is this is a scam using a spoofed #.

I called Morgan Stanley regarding a beneficiary IRA and related minimum distributions I have with them. I spoke to Kevin Bolton. When I asked about re-distributing allocations, I was transferred by Kevin to Ruk Bose who assists with financial planning. She does have an accent, but she was very helpful. This is her direct number and it is legit. I hate spam callers too, but this is not one. Kplan23 might want to check with his assets manager again about his accounts with Morgan Stanley. Unfortunately, "legit business call" is not an option for call type on this site so I just left it as Unknown.
