These people have called me for over a month, there are several people calling on different numbers. When you asked to be put on the no call list, they do, Then they call you on different numbers. I am constantly saying put me on the no call list. Just to get a call on a different number. They use land lines, cell phones etc...
This office called our home and asked for someone so quickly that you could not understand who they were asking for. I asked what number they dialed and they recited my home number too and I said right number but no one lives here by that name. They hung up. I called the number back and they again rattled off the garbled auctioneer style "we really don't want you to know who we are" response. Said you received this call because our records show you are interested in continuing your online education. I said no, that's not accurate and told her that the number dialed was on the do not call registry. She said Thank you SOOOOOO much, like I did her a favor by calling and telling her and when I asked her to spell the name of her company, she hung up on me. Go figure.
Don't use the phone search ads that come up when you look up these numbers. I think they are the ones behind this. It's a sneaky way for them to increase business.
ok this is who it is and yes it is not a University it's a Telemarketer so go to the National Do Not Call Regestry and register it's free and after 31 days if they call you can report them and it automatically removes you from their call list.
