I got a phone call that showed as Bed Bath and Beyond. The lady gave me Pro Life lecture. So I asked if the company had given her the permission. The answer was YES. Today I got another called identified again as Bed Bath and Beyond. So I just told the lady that I did not want to talk about abortion issue again. She thanked me for my time and hanged up,
I answered this one, because my sister will sometimes call from different stores when her cellphone dies or she forgets it, and it was also a number in our area code. The Caller ID showed as Bed Bath and Beyond. A gal answered, stating that she was taking a pro life choice survey & asked if I was pro life, pro choice, or no comment. Before I answered, I asked her why the phone number showed up as Bed Bath and Beyond, and who was this survey for? She did not answer and Immediately hung up. This is going on my list and if I get a second call, it will be blocked.
I received a call from 801-666-3303 today even though I am registered on the official 'do not call' list (political callers exempt?). Caller ID read: Political Survey. Gal on the other end knew my first name and I am not a registered voter nor am I listed in the phone book. Don't know what she wanted, didn't give her much of a chance, I hung up right away and then blocked that number from calling in the future.
Me again. Guess what? They did call back a second time. Only this time, instead of the ID showing 'Bed Bath & Beyond,' it shows on the ID as: 'Political Survey.' It's also their last time, because now they are BLOCKED. So, regardless of what name they call themselves, "A pig is still a pig no matter how much lipstick you put on it"!
The number was identified as Bed Bath and Beyound. But the caller wanted to talk about abortion or againt abortion. I can not believe Bed Bath and Beyound would promote For Or Against abortion. .
I too received this phone call last night. It was Bed Bath and Beyond for me and she asked if I was pro-life, pro-choice etc.
Even though I said pro-life she started talking about babies and would not stop when I tried to interrupt her. I hung up on her and called the number back. She answered and I challenged her about the Bed,Bath and Beyond. She immediately told me she would take me off her call list and hung up on me. I called Bed, Bath and Beyond, corporate office today to let them know someone was using their store name. They were grateful.
