Number (801) 692-7891 called me saying a package I ordered from US Standard had been returned to the shipping center and needed my release to get it.
1. Shipping companies don't work that way. They leave a notice on your door and you deal with them, not the supplier.
2. I have not ordered anything online within the last six months. I keep my money local.
3. After telling them "No" the lady immediatly attempted to transfer me to her "boss" to which I than hung up. Online companies don't work that way, I know becauae I've worked those jobs.
They're persistent. Last week I got a call (voicemail) from "Chrissy Taylor" with the JCX Sports Promotion Department about an overnight package that they needed my permission to release. Call back at 888-939-7698.
Today I got a voicemail from 8016927891... only this time it was "Madison Miller" with the LTX Sports Promotion Department. Call back at 888-831-4574.

Got a call from this number 801-692-7891. I think it might have been US Standard that called. They initially said they were from UPS, and that a package they were trying to send to one of our job sites had come back twice as undeliverable. I told the lady that I am in the office, and not usually out at the job site, so I don't know anything about it.
She asked me to hold, and then another lady came on (she said her name was Janet Monroe) thanking me for being their valued customer, and saying she wanted to send us an NFL game day package with two NFL T-shirts, parking passes and team schedules. She asked if I am responsible for purchasing, and I told her that I purchase some items. Then she started asking about safety equipment that we use (safety glasses, ear plugs, caution tape). When she started getting to the "check out" portion of the call and asking about our account, I said, "Look, I don't do the purchasing of that equipment, you'll have to talk to our purchasing department."
She wrapped things up pretty quickly after that, and said that when she gets back home she'll give me a call on her cell phone, which she gave as 844-877-4455. (I later Googled that number and found a similar thread with complaints about that number, and tying it to US Standard Products). An 844 area code is from a toll free number - not likely her cell phone.
