Ah Yes, the old Department of the Treasury scam. Gave the woman with the Indian accent a phony name and she fell for it and told me I owed 6580 dollars and would be arrested in 45 minutes. Never mentioned an address so what a joke. They read from the same script. I could practically mouth the words as she spoke them. Going to drag me to the old coat house. And jail without trial for 6 months!!! I hung up on her and she called back 6 more times. My cell phone even sounded mad as it rang!

Sandy, UT on caller ID. Left voicemail. Heavy Indian accent stating his name was Sam Martin, calling on behalf of the Treasury Department. If call is ignored it will be listed as 2nd missed contact and Federal Felony Criminal charges will be issued.
I just got the same message! It obviously is a scam as we know that the Dept. of Treasury is short staffed and only able to handle half the calls made last year. This is incredibly annoying ... where can I report this to?
Got the same call. Said if I hung up there would be officers at my door in 45 minutes. So I hung up. My message was my accountant never filed correctly, I owed money, and notices have been sent out to me. My accountant would have told me, I never got anything in the mail and I was tired of being threatened so I hung up.
