I just reported these idots to the Missouri Attorney Generals Office. I am certain that action will be taken. I am on the national no call list. So their scoop is that I clicked on their website asking for government grants. US Financial, name was Frank. The call back # 800-588-0066. He gave me my alternate e-mail address and then proceeded to give me a totally fake address for a city I have never lived in. I told him I would get back to him and ended the call. Since then, this 801-801-1111, alternately with 000-000-0000 called me at least 12 more times. I did not answer. They didn't leave a message.
My rule is to NEVER give any correct infor on the phone or ANY credit card info to someone you don't know.
801-801-1111 All of a sudden I get these calls phone rings callwave takes it. they hang up. 8 times yesterday once today already. I can't see the point. Hopefully someone smart can take them down. Posters here if you know a way please share. do not call list is no good. Be Well raine1200
I got my first call from these clowns at 8:41 a.m. on a Saturday morning. I didn't answer, but, gauging from the previous messages here, it sounds like I'm going to be hearing from them again, whether I like it or not. Definitely will not answer any time they call. HOW did they get my number????
I got a call from this number at 923 AM 7/21/12 asking for 3,87 cents and my credit card number and type of card and bank. They told me I was approved for a government grant. I talked for a while and asked "how do I know this is a valid government grant office". I waa told the it is and that when I put in my card information that it is like a back transaction on line and they claim they can't see it. I said I not sue if I wan't to do this because I have no validation that they were who they said they are. The next qustion was " do you want to your application for a grant" I said yes and they hung up on me.
I just received 2 calls from this number & asked if I was my name. I told them no & they hang up. I used to receive calls like this before they would call me at work & on my cell. They are very annoying & my number is registered on the do not call registry. So they are going to be reported to them also!!

The truth is the do not call list and almost any other place or company you give your phone number to can sell that info or store it not safely if they choose, which they do. They all do. All major companies all profiles you have on the internet, ALL of those sites sell your info no problem. This particular number seems to derive from a computer rather than a phone. What you should really be asking yourself is what do all of these people have in common, all of you, us on this page getting these calls. I know a few more , with me they call 3 times daily and NEVER answer. Never have, they just hang up and it doesn't matter if I switch numbers or block them, they keep coming. Another reason someone could be doing these is for the soul purpose of tracking you or reaching access to your gps or other info in your phone. All in all the truth is all of you need to think about what we have in common. Where you have been placing your number or what have all of us been doing?
