I finally picked up the phone after ignoring it for days. The man (could have been Indian) said I had responded to something about furthering my education. I told him I had my master's degree and was retired, so I had no idea how they got this number. He said "bye" and hung up.
Don is completely correct. Our phone number was stollen and is being used to maliciously call thousands and thousands of people. We receive more phone calls that we can begin to answer from people who have been victimized by this entitiy or person doing this. It's frustrating because the police can't do anything for us because the calls don't originate from us so we have no idea where to trace them to or how to track down the culprit. I have been getting calls today from this number. I did pickup and it is some automated thing that says good bye. I think it is associated with the sales calls i have been getting for on line school for the past week. It is some A-Holes in India so i keep answering and telling them i am watching a porn with a cow and soem of thier relatives.
