The caller identified himself as doing a political survey. When I told him I had already voted, he said thanks, and hung up. Call was received at 5:46 PM West Coast time.
Got a call at 2:07 PM today November 29--I waited a few beats and heard no one on other end. May be a predictive dialer and the delay was when a live person is supposed to pick up. They did not and I hung up.
I decided to p/u the phone when I saw that number on my caller ID. Clearly an automated caller as there was silence when I first said hello, then a guy came on. He was doing a follow-up survey on my recent order at Fed-Ex Kinko's. As annoying as these calls are, I suspect that they are justified since they are initiated by a company I consented to do business with. Survey took (supposedly) 90 seconds.
I am getting calls from this number ALL THE TIME! It even calls me multiple times during the same day and night! I'm also getting all kinds of other long distance calls from other places that are the same...it usually shows the name of a town and the state. I'm even getting them from outside of the USA, ex. Canada. Never any answer or recording when I answer.
