Called me today and told me he needed to "recall" my computer, since some "hardware design" was making my websites load extremely slowly (not true). Obvious scam. I bluntly told him my computer does not have any problems, and he promptly hung up. I'm more worried about how he received my number though...
This number has been consistently calling my house for the past few days. We finally answered it tonight and it is an Indian sounding guy saying that they received information that we were having a problem with a Microsoft application on our computer. When I told him we had a Mac and didn't have any Microsoft applications he quickly cut the line.
They just don't stop calling. Told them that I had read all about them on line, and that I did not have any computer problems. Also asked them how much money they were looking for!! Told them that it better be the last call I get from them. Take me off your call list. They hung up!!
