I have received this call twice on my cellphone in the last month. I don't know anyone in the state of Utah and the caller always hangs up without leaving a message. I believe it's a scammer or telemarketer of some kind. I would love to answer and tell them to get lost but I am afraid that by answering I will somehow activate the scam! This is very annoying.
The phone number is for Scott's Lawn Service and they are most likely just calling to see if you would like to have them perform their lawn service for the coming year. I also got a call from them and they did not leave a message. Perhaps they would like to speak to us in person. I have dealt with them for the past three years and they are not scammers. If you are out of Utah, I have no idea why they would be calling you. Perhaps next time, answer the call so you can inform them that they must be dialing the wrong number. I'll bet they'll stop calling you. Just a thought.
I received a call from them yesterday. A man on the line said,"Gene?" I said, "No, you have the wrong number". I gave him my number and said, "There is no Gene here." He said, "Who does your yard work?" I said, "I have this slave who works at it all the time. The slave is me." I then hung up.That call was at 7:42 p.m. MST.
Someone from that number called my cell phone again today, but fortunately I missed the call.
