This number (801-889-8568) was given to me by 'Claudia' when I finally managed to pick up a call on my cell phone after receiving similar calls about 2-3 times a week. The caller ID always start with 617-947-xxxx, but the last 4 digits of the number is always different, so I can't block them. If I don't pick up, the caller hangs up after a few rings.
I have called back some of these numbers, and have always reached an unsuspecting person whose number was apparently faked. These are Massachusetts cell phone numbers.
Not sure what to do about this, I'll try calling Verizon, my cell phone provider. Any other suggestions would be appreciated!
