I received a call from this number on 12/22/2013 at 7:40 p.m. on my cell phone. I did not answer it as I do not know anybody in Utah and again it was on my cell phone and certainly not wasting any minutes for someone I don't know. No message was left on voicemail. So much for putting your phone number on the "National Do Not Call List".
If you have a cell phone, just do what i did and download a call control app and block all 801 numbers. I live in Utah and know that there are a s***load of telemarketers and debt collectors here. If you don't know anybody in Utah, blocking all 801 numbers just makes sense. If you know people in Utah or, if for some dumb reason you live in Utah, just add the 801 numbers you know to your "white" list or safe list. Problem solved.
They called me and I answered, after my saying hello, an automated male voice said "Hello" back and immediately hung up. The same thing happened with 702-799-9726 except called with an automated female voice with an accent. Both numbers were unknown and called multiple times. The latest time they called was only about 2 hours apart from the other. They are both now blocked from my phone. Hopefully, there will not be any more calls like this from a different number. It was very strange.
I keep getting this call. It always hangs up when I answer it.. When I call back it is a survey sampling agency. I'm getting tired of their calls. Seeing as I am the do not call list for all cell phones and land line they shouldn't even be calling me. It is getting to the point that I am feeling harrassed by them. I get at least 1-5 calls from them per week.
