If the surveyor is not leading to a sales purpose for the call, your complaints to the FTC regarding the DNCR are misplaced. Only sales calls are covered. Also, your number is "on the list" forever until you cancel it or you have a change of carriers. Federal DNC registrations were stripped of the renewal requirement in 2008. Evidently you've been working from many outdated web pages and not doing your homework at the source. To stop the calls, you will have to confront their source directly.
