Called, asking for me by name, stated they were returning a call, I asked "Returning?" confused they started the written speach again, again I asked "Returning What Call" they started over and I hung up. Debt consolidation?
Received a call from this number at 8:30 AM this morning which I DO NOT appreciate! I work nights and usually sleep until 9 or 10 AM, so right off the bat these bozos are on my sh*t list. I never answer my land line anymore because of calls like these, so the call was intercepted by my answering machine and they didn't leave a message. Base on the other comments posted here, I'm assuming it was the Breast Cancer Awareness Fund calling, which I believe is one of the four bogus cancer charities based in Utah that was just indicted by the FTC last week for bilking contributors out of nearly $170 million. If that's the case I don't know why the FTC didn't have their phones disconnected to prevent them from scamming any more people, but consider yourself warned if you receive a call from this number. It's a SCAM!!
Get calls almost daily, sometimes before 8 am, which I do not appreciate. Caller ID displays "not in use"- that spells a scam to me. They usually call when I'm not home or still in bed, but once when I answered, she said she was with the breast cancer association; I told her I would not give personal info over the phone and told her not to call again; another time they asked for me by first name... I asked if I could take a message, she said no, she would call back- I said please don't because she doesn't want to talk to you. And still they continue to call. (801-921-8130 & 801-921-8129)
