The problem is that there are bogus operations known for passing themselves off as something they are not. With the world we live in, I think people should be cautious with alleged surveys.
Called me everyday without leaving a message, I finally picked up the third/fourth day and there was just a beep (like a voicemail machine tone) with no one on the other end ?!?
This is Chase - I received a call today, 10/3/14 at 3:01 pm (Eastern). Did not answer, they did not leave a message. Called the number appearing on the caller id - 801-921-8152 it is by a machine claiming to be Chase Survey number. Recording goes on to say that "if you received a call from this number, you were selected to participate in a survey regarding your recent banking experience at Chase Bank....... " Eventually the message refers you to another telephone number to contact regarding your account. Phishy - no????? Needless to say - I believe you are correct regarding this being a scam.
this isn't a scam. It's legitimately Chase calling to ask about your recent teller experience. They don't ask for any of your account info. I hung up anyway, because I don't feel the need to answer those questions but still - it's legit. Just ask Chase.
This is NOT Chase, this is a phishing bot call...I got this call 4 hours after a huge announcement from Chase to beware of such calls cuz they were hacked. I actually DID call Chase and gave them this number and they have zero association w this number. So either you work for these criminals or your simply too ignorant and stupid to take your own advice.
