The caller said, "This is a recorded call. I understand you inquired about Social Security benefits." I answered, "Wrong," hung up, and blocked the number. There is a current scam in which the caller tries to get you to say "yes," record it, and use your voice to initiate unauthorized purchases. I'm sure it's better not to say anything to a telemarketer. Just hang up and block their number.
