I knew it was some sort of hoax because I do not have an account at GTE FCU, so I used *67 on my home phone to call the number and it is out of service. It also seemed odd because it was a text but it was not from a number and I could not reply to it. I can even Reply to texts from 411.

I also received a text message, but it was at 1:30 a.m.!!  I do belong to GTE FCU, so I looked at their fraud alerts and saw that there was a text message with the area code "603" being sent around and trying to get personal info from callers.  I did report this to GTE FCU as well.
