Unknown caller, number not that of a friend or associate. Let's start a file on it. The scammers switch numbers so regularly that it is difficult to keep up with them.
Call from this number to our fax number. Caller asked for miss someone, then mumbled something when I said I had no idea who she wanted. Info says Danville, VT, but no name. Sounded fishy.
I'd said Danville, VT. Knew my first name. Woman said she wanted donation for homeless veterans. Hmmm. Scam? Persistent. Southern accent. Polite. Said thank you when refused all offers of levels of donations including lowest Purple Heart donation for $15.
