Automated call saying something about loan applied for in 2015, legal things in the works, we would receive 500.00 per day, until settled in court, press 1 to find out details, when I pressed 1 to give them a piece of my mind they then had another recorded message that wanted us to respond with Yes I do, Yah right I wasn't born yesterday. I hung up. I wasn't at my desk to google the number to begin with otherwise I would have hung the phone up to begin with. This is definitely an attempt at a SCAM, what really bothers me is that what if an employee goes through the process for somebody they work for and creates them a whole lot of problems (which I'm sure that's what they are hoping for) Just can't trust anybody these days.
Unidentified female robo babbles something about a "business review" that will be posted and how I have 5 days to get a copy by pressing 1. I pressed the hang up button.
This number called my place of employment. Hung up. I called them back and Todd Seigel answered, the company name is 800-FUND; supplying alternative funding for businesses. I asked them to stop calling our company, and he replied that if I was not the company owner, I did not have the authority to report them. Which is exactly what I did next. Report them to "Do Not Call Registry"
Automated message said it was confirming a site inspection that was scheduled for tomorrow between 4-4:30 p.m. and to press 1 for more information. Our business did not schedule any sort of inspection, so I hung up without pressing 1.
These rascals are still at it. A female robot voice called and said, "A review for your company will be posted in 5 days. Press 1 if you would like a copy of the review." Reading these other posts, I wonder why the scammers want us to press the 1 button so badly...
