Spam call with recorded message claiming to be IRS and claiming that a lawsuit has been filed against you (an audit will happen long before that would even be considered by the IRS and you would receive a mailed notice). They ask you to call a number and then gather information (do not give information - I used dummy info to see their method). After name and address is gathered, they will generate a Case # and Batch # and then will try to get you to repeat the numbers back to them - the line goes silent right after asking you to repeat the numbers which indicates that they are recording the numbers you say to no doubt try to use in voice identity banking. Overall just a spam done by what sounded like foreign individuals. Be wary and never give info out over the phone!
