Yes we just received a phone call from a guy with a heavy indian accent acting as an IRS agent suggesting we have a formal complaint with the IRS, telling us to call him back or he would take legal action. We did not call back.
Just as the birds know how and when to migrate, the people of India have inborn "talents", as far as scamming is concerned. Positions as scammers in India are extremely hard jobs to acquire, as the entire population has this "talent", and the job market is flooded, therefore, the pay is very low, only a few Rupees a day.
I also got a call yesterday from Vt and the Indian guy had a heavy accent.. He claimed I owed federal taxes and gave me a badge number to make it seem real. This dude had the nerve to tell me that they are taking legal action against me then questioned me about if I knew how to do a wire transfer. Number he called from was 8028557169
