This is a NIGERIAN Craig's List SCAM. The prefix is 234. This is from Nigeria. I answered a Craig's list ad about a rental home and the "owner" got very pushy asking for personal information, which I did not fill out. AVOID this scam  at all costs. The emailer said "he is in the Air Force doing work at a base and needs to rent house very quickly."

Excellent Scam!!!!  They even got the name of the home owner from the business listed at at the address in Smithtown NY.  If these people only put this much effort into a legit business, they wouldn't have to cheat, lie and steal to make a living.  PT Barnum once said:"their is a sucker born every minute" and I'm sure that SOMEONE will try to rent this fake home.

I answered an ad for a 3/2/2 rental $1,150 total to move in ($400 deposit and 1st month's rent at $750) on a MONTHLY rental to "just treat it as your own" - allows pets/on a cul-de-sac/fenced yard/2 car garage
