I received a call in Germany from this number. Somebody claiming to be from Netsuite. He knew my full name and my job title, but had my email address alll wrong. He wanted to send me a document that he would further discuss with me in a second call. I did not tell him that my mail address was wrong. He kept calling, but I ignored it
Got a phone call from "Samantha from Prize Advisor".
Samantha is actually a software program cold calling trying to convince people that she is a real human. It is a scam trying to collect useful information from you.
The moment I asked what phone number she is at, the automated response said to disregard this call. When I called back the number, I re-asked the same question, and the automated response repeated the reply exactly (hence it is automation, not a real person).
If you get a call from this number, report it to the Do Not Call
These people call from what shows up as a local number on my Caller ID.
Upon answering, the person is reading a script that says she is from the Daily Jackpot, and I have been chosen to answer their survey calls. If I choose to go further, I am agreeing to take more calls and be entered once a day for a daily jackpot drawing. The first time I accidentally answered, I asked where she was calling from, she pretended that she could not hear me. I am assuming she is being supervised. ??
The second time I accidentally answered (again, it looks like someone local is calling me), the same thing happened. The woman read off of her script and when I asked her anything about it being a scam, she pretends she cannot hear me until she hangs up.
Today I answered, the same woman as last time was on the calling end of the call. I said, "You're the person who pretends you can't hear me. Can you hear me now?" She said, "Yes I can hear you." I said, "I knew you were lying last week. Tell me which state you are calling from because it looks like a local number." She said, "I'm calling from the Daily Jackpot." I said, "There are 50 states, you must know which one you are located in right now." She said, "I am calling from the Daily Jackpot." I said, "That is not one of the states. How can anyone trust you are not a scam?" and she continued reading off her script. I asked if she's in charge of the scam or if it is just a place she works for. She hung up on me.
I researched online and found the company is called Proadmin Solutions out of California. I could not click on the link to their website because my computer had a warning that their site may harm my computer.
