Yes, this happened to me. I stayed on long enough for them to record my "yes" answers to questions verifying my business name, phone #, address, & then right when the recorded voice begins to talk about a $49 charge being charged to my bill, the representative who originally talked to me "talks over" that recording & tells me to make sure not to hang up & to answer Yes one last time. Fortunately for me, I could understand the American accent recording much better than the foreign accent of my rep. What a joke! If I had said yes, they could have used that against me when I tried to dispute charges at a later date. BEWARE!!!
Called at 3:30 pm Est. Would not explain who they were. Asked to verify information for that phone line. I have 15 lines coming into this business. The business name she was trying to verify was not our company so I hung up.
Same number just called here in MO. I'd like people who report this number on this site so the boneheads can be tracked geographically at lease. The do not call people and phone companies cannot or do not do anything about the buggers.
I don't answer the phone any more unless they come up on caller ID or I recognize their voice on my answering machine.
this number has been calling for days, multiple time a day.
6 times today alone and its only noon!
i am on all do not call lists, and am getting very tired of this.
every once in a while you will hear..hello?...hello? but that is all.
