Hey i receive a call yesterday and a gentle man told me that i had a loan. Ok my problem is this; I did get the loan but I paid it back threw the agency that i have gotten this loan from as i was explaining this to the unprofessional guy he rudely told me i have til 31st of this month to pay a total balance of $500 ??? OK now as i explain that I'M not aware of this matter he still insisted that i pay i need to put a card on file? i told him i did not have a card at the time he stated that he will give me one hour or may be to hours for me to get one...so in honesty i did call in with a card i can use to pay but i need to know if this is legit i do not have money to throw away and why do i have to pay $500 he also called me every hour it has to be some point of and violation problem i believe the guy was name tillman he said his extension is 3002. He said if i don't pay $500 now or $250 some will be at my address immediately and i know that's not how things work. I have and attorney i might look into hiring IM just waiting on paper work from this crook and you guy blame my culture as people who scam others and this guy don't even know how to even be professional to scam.I will be happy to speak private with anyone to put a stop to this i need guidance and direction.
Got a call from Aron Brownstone. Caller ID in Office identified number 802-772-0900. Cross reference (google) 802-772-0900 you will get a plethuria of information concerning these scam artists. Always a legal matter, always going to file a report, always going to come see you at your work...yada...yada. I work for the court system and want to clear a few things up for anyone who finds this thread. Feel free to copy it and paste it on any thread concerning these low life Zombie collectors who prey on people.
First they are calling because they say they can not find you. This is Crap as the sheriff, will NEVER, EVER call you to tell you they are coming. They live to work on the element of surprise. Plus if your township, county etc, wants you, they already know where you are, so sit tight.
Second, and most important, NEVER CALL these low life bottom feeders back. Because truth be known they don't care who they talk to as long as they can get money from someone. It doesn't even have to be the right person. If you call them back then they know that they have a real tangible working phone number that they can call to harass you all the time of day and night. Just ignore the call, or better yet, tag them as a spam call in your phone, and you'll never even see them ring it.
Third, these people function and live on the *Fear factor* they will say anything, tell you anything to get you to give them the money thru your checking account, debit card or credit card. Many people get scammed this way. I've heard : coming to your workplace to arrest you, serving you in the morning if you don't call by a certain time, attaching your salary, etc, etc, this is all nothing but crap.
Fourth, in most states payday loans are ILLEGAL as they charge obnoxious interest, and most states are trying desperately to ban them. Since I'm not sure of what state anyone is in, I cannot site them all here, but if you go to your states attorney general page, you should be able to look up the laws.
Fifth, I know it sounds nice to send them a letter or report them, but this is a futile. They have got this to a science. With all that is going on in court systems they know they have time on their side. Not enough of these low life bottom feeders get caught and prosecuted, if they did...they wouldn't still be in business, but they are, thousands of them.
Lastly, anyone who posts that you are scum or a deadbeat PAY YOUR BILLS , OR OMG they came to my place of work and arrested me, are full of crap, and are employees of the company that is trying to scam you (yeah they read the threads also) and are just trying to SCARE you, SEE MY THIRD NOTE Above, Fear factor.
Best thing to do in this case, especially with these people is TO IGNORE. Eventually when no one engages with them they will go away to torment someone else.

Just got a call from Aaron Brownstone as well, regarding an important legal matter!!! Doubt it!!! Blocked the call in my phone, just keep deleting the voice mails....
