A month or so ago I was receiving calls several times a day from a whole squadron of 802-622-3*** numbers. After conferring with the techs at my phone service, they gave me the codes I could use to block calls. All was peace-in-the-valley! But "They're baaaaack!" (said in my best 'Poltergeist' voice). Now these crooks are only showing up on Caller ID as the last 7 digits. Today's was 622-3473 and the skunk claimed he was calling from the "Association of Homeless Veterans." Uh huh. Sure... The one before that was "Deputy Sheriffs' Benevolent Fund."
What truly angers me is that these scum are always asking for a recent immigrant from Laos who had my number prior to it being assigned to me. "Shake Down the Immigrants Fund" should be calling here next. I always tell these idiots I am recording their call for the FBI and I hope they have a nice vacation. Interstate Wire-Fraud wins a 20 year one in the Gray-Bar Hilton.
