I get calls from this number all the time I dont answer the phone. A foreign man with an india accent leaves a voice mail saying hes from the legal department I said to myself sooo. Anyways I have report this number to Do not call registry and ftc.
This sounds like the same bunch that was calling my daughters phone.They were calling from another Vermont number.They have very heavy accents and are hard to understand.The man got on the phone with me from the other time and started yelling at me and trying to threaten me with the police and court etc.I told them to send me any paperwork they had to the address on file.That was all I told them until I got so mad that I got into it with the man on the phone.I reported them to the police in case they had managed to get any sort of information on me so that I had a report number.After I told him that they had been reported to everyone under the sun,I stopped getting calls.Now they're back with a different number.The number originates from Lunenburg ,Vermont,population of 1264.The S.O.B tried yelling over me,but wasn't very successful.I even called our courthouse and there were no actions against me.
Try not to worry about it.It's a scam. Report it to the police so that you'll have a report number,just in case.Explain to your boss that it's a scam .Hopefully it'll stop soon.I basically got back in their face and pushed back and dared them to do something.Don't give out any kind of information and tell them to send any papers to the address on file.Thats all that needs to be said.The police have told me to just hang up on them.Notify your own police department and get that report number.Call your Attorney Generals office.Report them to whoever you can think of.Don't back down.

THES PEOPLE CALL AND SAY THAT I AM UNDER INVESTIGATION AND TO HAVE MYSELF OR MY ATTORNEY CALL THEM TO AVOID BEING ARRESTED. THEY ARE TRYING TO SCARE PEOPLE INTO GIVING THEM INFO AND HAVE THEM PAY X AMOUNT OF DOLLARS. DON'T FALL FOR IT.
