So this guys "daughter" has a pof account and she asks for your phone number and tells you you are very hot. She then texts you and gives you a random age. Her online profile says she is 21, she texts saying she is 15. She begs and begs and begs for nudes and guilt trips you until you finally give in and do whatever dumb thing you may do. The next day you get a phone call from the 803-552-0454 number from a Daniel who tells you his daughter cut her wrists over the images and is now in the hospital. The bill is $4,700 and if you don't pay atleast half on a MoneyPak card then he will go to the authorities.
YOU call YOUR local police. His EXTORTION is a crime. DO NOT waste your time with this - block his number. This is a new 803 area code .number for an old SCAM.
Well unfortunately I sent a picture after she said what her age was because I was being stupid and figured nothing would come of it. I'm only 21 myself so it was a not very well thought out "what's the worst that can happen" moment. So I can't go to local PD but I want to make everyone aware that this is happening. He has my work phone number and keeps calling them saying I need to call a "Greg Favel" at (803)552-0454 or they will put a warrant out for my arrest. I'm not playing into it.
