Today they are calling with a foreign accent stating they wanted to talk with my husband about the Medicare prescription package approved by the government about some kind of a cream that is now available and mentioned "lidocaine" or something similar. When I asked why he was calling us about this he dropped his voice low and said, "ok, bye."
I answered the phone and a woman asked for me -- as always when I realize I should not have answered, I said "he's not here right now can I take a message." She said, "this is not a sales call, I'm calling to talk to him about veterans benefits." This number should probably be reported to law enforcement.
My 86 year old Dad keeps getting calls from number at 8:30 am about an alleged 3 month phone bill that he does not owe. The number is listed as Bailey's Richmond Plumbing in Google.
I think this is Verizon's collection department. I've seen it come in for someone I KNOW is seriously behind on payment. They do leave a message to that effect!
