Keeps calling me. I don't answer. The one time I called back, the call was answered right away. No robot automated service, just straight to an actual person. They answered saying "Capital one," but I hung up after that. I do have CO credit cards but they are current.
I have received 20 calls a day and told them no CLIFF lives here. Then I was told "we can call you 100x a day if you do not pick up"! I registered on the DO not call list. still they call. Capital one is the culprit

The same goes for endless telephone harassment

If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion. Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved. Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.
You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because, being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking), the only thing they understand.
Kim called saying she's from Capital One and for me to call her back at 800-929-8075 ext 5215644. The actual number she called from on my caller id was 804-482-6668 from Virginia. This isn't Captial One! Scammer - beware!!!
