This number has called me multiple times through out the day for the past few months, I finally answered and they wanted to verify my information for lawn and landscape magazine. I verified my public information as a business, but they then asked for my birth month to verify that we spoke today, I said no, I'll verify any other public information. She insisted I said no and she hung up.
Looked up the phone number and the magazine, the website for the magazine does not work. Don't know what they're trying to get.
Called our office about a nutrition magazine. Asked questions about address, phone number and the city I was born in. Why they needed to know I don't understand. Didn't correct incorrect address, didn't give email address and gave false city. Said it was being recorded. Wish I didn't give my name on recording. Hopefully other incorrect info won't be of use to them.
Someone named "Amy" called and asked to verify the name of an employee who no longer works at our company. She said this was for a free subscription to Nutrition Industry Executive Magazine. I told her that I open the mail here and I don't recognize the name of that magazine. I asked how often that magazine is delivered and she put me on hold or mute for a long time without warning, then came back and sounded surprised that I was still on the line. She said the magazine is delivered monthly and I reiterated that I don't recognize that magazine. I asked her for the name of her company and the phone number and she said she'll just call back and hung up on me. The caller ID indicated 804-805-1002 in Petersburg, VA, but no company name. I looked it up on Whitepages Premium (I have a subscription) and no name was associated with this number, but it's a landline and the carrier is Wide Voice Llc - Va.
