They try to get you to give your credit card info over the phone for a "$100"
rebate voucher for only $4.95…
Lol who gives credit info over the phone in this day and age…Asked if they had PayPal and he said "No", and still presisted to ask for my card number, explaining that I can follow the transaction online, (no [***]), and something about his supervisor. Yeah right $100.00 for $4.95. Like they won't bang my credit card for, who knows how much, in a later date.
The call is from Los Angeles and I live in Newark NJ, so I smelled "SCAM" from the beginning and gave a fake name and phone number to the guy.
NEVER GIVE CREDIT INFO OVER THE PHONE. If they are a reputable company they will properly collect the information needed.
Just sayin…
got a call and hang up before I could answer. I think it's a bot cold calling numbers, but am not willing to call and find out only to end up on spam list.
