Yet another call from this Santa Paula VOIP scumbag today, just 1 day since the last call on April 19. Once again, When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message. This is typical of robocallers who use automated dialers in a relentless search for gullible victims.
Fortunately, several posters, especially Shoo Fly (see above) have unmasked the caller as:

Shoo Fly further reports, "And with a record of over 30 arrests including drug offenses, I'm guessing someone is desperately running a scam here. Someone else mentioned gang and drug arrests and yup, I was able to find the same thing.
Beware people, don't fall for this one!"
Other posters (such as Jeff JM above) say the caller pretends to be an HVAC company wanting to service your furnace or your ducts. Folks, these people are more interested in cleaning your wallet than your ducts! They are known practitioners of the art of wallettechtomy.
It wouldn't surprise me if the caller started going after my neighbor, Tiger, Ventura County, who is, unfortunately, also a target for harassment by virulent telemarketers.
Finally, according to www.whitepages.com this number is "suspected spam." I'm soooooooooo surprised!!!

Operator tried to tell me she was "Linda" from company HVAC. When I suggested that due to her calling a number on the Federal Do Not Call List, she was breaking federal law, she feigned ignorance. I told her, no problem but that if she did receive a subpoena in the mail to appear in court to testify against her company's management, that she should make sure that she didn't just toss the subpoena since that would trigger a "Failure to appear" on her criminal record. I explained that when we hire folks these days, we always check criminal backgrounds and in her case, failure to appear is a black mark on their record. She seemed upset... an hung up.
This scammer/criminal has TRIED to reach me personally three times this morning already. The day is young. I wonder how many more times the creep will butt interrupt my peace and quiet today?! (Displayed as L. Christiansen)
