Answered it, they asked for my son. I said he isn't in now, can I take a message. She said no, and that was the end of the conversation. Since my son does have business calls, it is frustrating to get calls from sources that refuse to identify themselves. I just now called the number of origin, and there was a recording saying she was from (muffled) and doing a survey. Brother! Doesn't anyone respect the sanctity of the home anymore?
805 area code but caller id says Arroyo Grande, CA, which while technically is in 805 is really San Luis Obispo, central CA not southern CA like the rest of the 805.
My point is, this call is probably spoofed, scam company trying to use spoof numbers with a person's same area code so they'll answer, but these jerks have no idea of the geography of the area they are trying to scam. Very few people in the southern part of the 805 are going to think this call is legit and answer it when it says "Arroyo Verde" just because it shows 805.
