They have been calling every few hours for at least 4 days. The only thing that changed is that the caller ID was originally Simi Valley , CA and now is Unknown Name.
The person behind this number sounded like he was in a call center overseas. I was told my computer was sending error messages to them. I told him I was on the do not call list and if I have a problem with my computer I will contact the appropriate company for help. He still tried to convince me I had a problem as I ended the call.
NEVER NEVER NEVER give these people any personal information or any serial numbers from your computer(s). If you want to have some fun ask which computer make them tell you (odds are they don't know) or let them continue their spill when they are done talking . . . tell them you don't have a computer. We are a business. This number has called numerous times over the last 24 hours but no one was there. Today we received a call and the male voice asked "can you satisfy me?'. I notified this caller that our number is on the do not call list and to never call this number again.
That won't do any good. Callers are Indian or Pakistani scammer or hard core extortionists who ignore all US laws. Invest in a call blocker and do not pick up on call numbers you do not recognize.
