An unwanted call from this ostensibly Saticoy number arrived today.  When the answering machine picked up, the caller left no message, just dead space.  Robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) do this all the time while trolling the phone lines seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.

According to www.whitepages.com this cell phone number is owned by Dana Petrocelli of Carmel Valley, CA, yet the number itself is based in Saticoy, CA.  Since I neither know nor do business with the owner or anyone else in Carmel Valley, I must conclude this was an attempted unlawful contact.
