Had a call from this number guy said he was calling from Windows and that there was a virus in my PC and he asked for the serial number of my PC. I asked him where he was based he said Oxford. This is a scam.

Had a call today ,said that were windows technical and calling from London ,said problem with my computer showed up yesterday ,but I have not used my computer for 2 days SCAM
Even if you used your computer 24 hours a day, it's still a scam. Got a cold call? What ever the reason: Hang up. Do not talk to them. Do not call them back.
