I didn't get a call, but an inquiry on my website, asking me to represent them in a legal matter in Ohio. The person claims to be David Hingston of Permanoid LTD. Interestingly, there IS a "D. Hingston" associated with Permanoid, The company's website lists him as "Chairman". The company is located in Manchester, England (for you older folks, that's, "across the Atlantic Sea"). He provided an email address of
[email protected], listed himself as being located in "City" (in response to the required query, "City?") and Alabama as the state, giving this number, an Hawaiian area code.
Hmmm, let's see, the chairman of an international company, located in England (company's website mentions that they do business in England, the Middle East and Asia, however, there is no mention of the United States (must be an oversight), claiming to be located in "City, Alabama," using a Yahoo email address (rather than a company email--the company uses a branded email address), and a phone number from Hawaii, that is listed here a possible scam, oh, I don't know, sounds legit to me.
