Caller said my first name, then something garbled that I couldn't understand, said her name was Yoko, and twice asked (somewhat demandingly) that I call her back. I'm very worried, because my wallet was stollen two weeks ago, so I'm concerned that my wallet thief might have run up a debt in my name...given the above comment that this is a Maui debt collection service. Help me; I don't know what to do!
I received a call from this number - the display on my cell said Private Number - the caller left no name, no reference number, just a number to call back and only used my first name.
When I called back; the person who answered just said 'hello'. I asked who I had called and she refused to say, asking who I was. I said I would rather know who I had called because they didn't say in the message and she said she couldn't tell me anything unless I gave her my name - because she 'only answered the phone'. I said I understand that but who do you work for, what is the company name so I know what it's about - again she refused to say. I said if she did not identify the company calling me I would report the number as harassing and she said 'ok' and hung up -
A comment above said it was a debt collector but I actually do not have any debt - besides I fail to see how they could resolve a debt if they won't even leave a reference number or admit who they are when you call back...she was also very aggressive and talked over me repeatedly, not exactly problem solving behavior.

Got a message to call the number 808-249-2252 from someone called Yoko. I called the number and someone answered hello. I asked for Yoko and was transferred to Voice mail I did not leave a message but instead tried to dial the operator and ask who they were. No operator . I tried dialing back again and only got a main number asking me to leave a message. This is some scam and I am reporting it to the State of Hawaii.
