A call from this Honolulu HI cell number arrived today. When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message, just dead space. This is typical of robocallers who use automated dialers to place calls. If a live person answers, the dialer transfers the call to a live, illegal telemarketer. Slick, eh? I had hoped the illegal telemarketers who violate the Do Not Call law were limited to the mainland, but this experience demonstrates they have spread, like a cancer, to the islands as well. Very sad!
