I got several calls like this: "Aloha....Aloha, This is a message....Aloha, This is a message for ________ ________. This is not a sales call or a marketing call. Please call......8am to 5pm Hawaiian Standard Time. Mahalo"
I called the number back and after a few rings someone picked up but I couldn't hear what the company name was. I asked if it was a telemarketing company, and the lady (seemed upset) said no, we are a collections agency. I said in that case, I think you have the wrong number. She asked for the number and then asked, So there is no _______ ________ at this number? I said no, and she said she'd remove our number from the list.
I question the legitimacy of the phone call because the recording asks for someone who doesn't live in our house, but has the same last name--so it seems they just "made up" a name.
Also, the message left is unprofessional--the recording starts over 2 or three times...It starts with "Aloha" and ends with "Mahalo" and gives "Hawaiian Standard Time" hours.

Beware of this caller! They will tell you all sorts of things from collection agency to police. This is a scam big time! My experience with them was they asked for the full ss# to make sure they were in contact with the correct person and told me I had to call another number (supposedly a police officer) due to a credit issue. These people collect your information for identy theft! Do not respond to them or give them any info. I have already placed a complant with local authorities in Hawaii about it! Crazy stuff people!!!
