Caller is very rude and persistent. He will not say what he wants he just keeps asking for the owner. Caller ID comes up as Wolverine Products 810-235-2529. He hung up on me when I asked him if you wanted to leave a message.
I received a call a couple of times over a week, with no message. I have always considered the F.O.P. to be one of the most offensive nuisance calls, and have received many annoying calls from them in the past. I am glad that I checked the number on this site to learn that the call was made on their behalf. I have therefore added this number to my phone's contact list under annoyance call and assigned a silent ringtone.
Wow - guy called me from this number. Caller ID stated "PublicSafety123" - I figured it was Sesame Street calling. To my surprise, the guy wanted to know if I wanted to go to a Fraternal Order of Police Ball! I was really flattered; he doesn't even know me and asked me to go! Unlike these other posters, I was truly taken aback by his offer, but had to decline. After all, I don't even know you.
I received a call from 810-235-2529 on my direct line at work. There was a brief pause/connection with someone asking for a person who no longer works at our company. I communicated such and he proceeded to ask for the owner. I could hear people in the background laughing and making rude comments. I work for a corporation in which I provided him a true and honest answer..."sir, since we are a corporation, our shareholders own our company." He hung up. Good to know that this a telemarketer for the FOP. I will be on the look out just in case they call again.
