Same deal, claims my Yahoo account has been compromised wanted me to log onto the run and enter something for him. Yeah, I don't think so. After I told him that I did it and was ready to give him my social security number too (sarcasm) I hung up on him, he has called me back 7 times.
Caller said he was with Frontier Communications, and wanted into my email because someone had "broken into my email" and he needed to get in and "fix it" Heavy Indian accent. SCAM CALLER
The caller claimed to be from Google. He said that my gmail account had been hacked and was sending out spam. He advised me to go to my account and log in and he would assist me. He then wanted me to download Teamviewer so that he could have remote access to disable my account! That's when I told him that I needed to run this by my IT guy so that I could make sure this wasn't a virus that was going to destroy my computer. He hung up me.
just received the same call as the others, the man had the Indian accent and told me my msn email was hacked and I am sending spam to everyone, He also said that my email is linked to porn sites, he asked me to push and hold the window button and press the r and t button, then click the pop up in the right hand corner of my screen, I asked him if he thought I was a fool, he said no mam I just want to help you, click the pop up and it will tell you who the hacker is.
