I have a cell phone and a landline (which I NEVER USE and have the ringtone turned off). Whenever anyone requests my phone number, I give out my landline. I also say I don't have a cell phone. I NEVER give out my cell except to family or friends. It has cut down on almost ALL scam calls
I don't know who you are with but if you are with Comcast/XFinity, I just learned and signed up for a new service of theirs. It is free of charge and it stops ALL ROBO CALLS. If you have Comcast, go to "voice" and to the left is a place listing robo blocker. I just signed up. We will see if it works.
