back in December, a guy showed up and tried to foreclose on my house that I'm renting. I basically told him to [***] off and he left in a hissy. Said he was going to call the sheriff. That obviously didn't happen.
Today, I get a hanger on my door that has no identifiers as to whom I would be so urgently summond. Just the phone number 810-416-1472.
Curious all around. You'd think a mortgage lender or collector with half a brain could have found the owner by now rather than make nearly anonymous threats to a tenant. (unless you meant that you're the landlord?) It smells of arrogant lawbreaking. I hope others with similar experiences will chime in over time to help you.
