called twice in about an hour.........i called back and there was a recording from ssi, an independent survey research organization................number blocked.
I'm in area code 810. Caller ID displays "SSI" "580-5671". This number calls frequently, usually I don't pick up just let it go to answering machine but msg is never left. Picked it up tonight, they asked for daughter who hasn't lived here in ten years....told them she moved a decade ago, asked them to stop calling and remove me from their call list. We'll see if does the trick.
We get so many of these bs calls I bought an answering machine with a call-blocker, unfortunately it only has capacity for about 30-40 numbers and I filled that in about a month..next step is to buy one with a 1,000 plus number blocker capacity. World is full of irritating [***] and getting fuller every day.
The caller ID, for this number, says it is a cell phone call. I do not know anyone with this number. I let it go to voice mail and they did not leave a message.
finally answered this number after repeated calls.............was survey about voting habits, dem or rep, how often, gave all b.s. answers, then added to my blocked list.
